Back again at the office.... Well my office, which is the beach! Went beachcombing with a very good friend and found a sea glass shard of a lifetime.. This was a beautiful Art Deco design sea glass which was probably a vase bottom. Everyone that walks the long Island beaches know this is far from a common fined. All the years I have beachcombed the shorelines have yet to find anything like this. Finding a pieces of sea glass like this makes it so worth while to get cold fingers or wet feet! You never know what you will find on the beach! This is definitely a sea glass collectors piece and too big for jewelry, but this is a proud piece to add to my collection display of finds!
We also found a few cobalt blue sea glass shards, bottle rims and never underestimate lime sea glass either, which is one of my favorites!
