This cool and gloomy day in January and a good beach walk on the Long Island Sound with a good friend, hunting for sea glass. 5.54 miles and we both walked away happy and pockets full. But I must admit he got two sea glass beauties I didn't, as seen on the shell below, I almost tackled him for them.. Lol! The one was a flawless aqua blue flat-back. Most likely a vase decor piece used to hold flowers in place. The other was a perfectly oval shaped seafoam shard, both jewelry quality. You never know what you will find on the beach shore unless you look!
As you can see difference in colors that a woman's eye can find verses the man's eye on an overcast day. Interesting to say the least.
