This is a stunning extra large Turquoise sea glass shard that was once a piano caster, the 2nd largest piece I ever had in my possession. The piano casters we used to protect the floor beneath it , bring beauty to the piano and also improve the quality of the sound. This shard of sea glass was found off the shores of Seaham England. Turquoise sea glass is considered to be extremely rare. The addiditives used to achieve turquoise colored glass is cobalt, copper and iron and this color glass was not mass prouduced. The origin of turquoise sea glass is more commonly found in England or the Caribbean rather then other parts of the world. English sea glass is some of the most interesting and beautiful pieces to collect or that can be made into jewelry. Our sea glass is 100% surf tumbled by mother nature and never altered in anyway.
