This is a stunning extra large Vaseline sea glass shard that Glows under black light. this was probably a candy dish or piano caster. This shard of sea glass was found off the shores of Seaham England. English sea glass is some of the most interesting and beautiful pieces to collect or that can be made into jewelry. Vaseline sea glass glows under black light because it contains uranium dioxide to produce the greenish yellow hue. Vasline glass is also known as Uranium Glass or UV or ultraviolet or Canary glass are all the same. Ther are also pieces with stronger or weaker intensities because of the amounts of uranium dioxide used to make the glass. UV glass glows under black light because it fluoresces, not because its radioactive. Our sea glass is 100% surf tumbled by mother nature and never altered in anyway.
